We are pleased to announce that "saunality," a medicated lotion for use in saunas, has won the OMOTENASHI Selection 2023, an award given to products and services recognized by foreign experts living in Japan as "full of uniquely Japanese charm that we want to spread to the world."
The Omotenashi Selection, for which we have been awarded, is an award established in 2015 with the aim of discovering products and services that are brimming with excellent Japanese "hospitality" and spreading it around the world.
It is run by more than 20 private companies, including ANA, Japan Post, and major department stores, and the certification process involves an on-site inspection by foreign experts living in Japan.
The awards will be evaluated based on the criteria of "OMOTENASHI" and "GLOBAL", and will focus on ingenuity and creativity that fosters craftsmanship born from consideration for the user, and that continues to improve upon tradition while also pursuing modern improvements.
This time, saunality was awarded the prize in recognition of being "full of uniquely Japanese charm that we want to share with the world."
