We are pleased to announce that our sauna-specific medicated milky lotion "saunality" has won the "OMOTENASHI Selection 2024," an award given to products and services that are recognized by foreign experts living in Japan as being "full of uniquely Japanese charm that we want to share with the world." This marks the second consecutive year that we have won the award, following on from last year.
The Omotenashi Selection, for which we have been awarded, is an award established in 2015 with the aim of discovering products and services that are brimming with excellent Japanese "hospitality" and spreading it around the world.
It is run by over 20 private companies, including ANA, Japan Post, and major department stores, and the certification process involves an on-site inspection by foreign experts living in Japan.
The awards will be evaluated based on the criteria of "OMOTENASHI" and "GLOBAL", and will focus on ingenuity and creativity that fosters craftsmanship born from consideration for the user, and that continues to improve upon tradition while also pursuing modern improvements.
This time, saunality was awarded the prize in recognition of being "full of uniquely Japanese charm that we want to share with the world."
